Local weather helps estimate running hours. It does not size an air conditioner. An installer still needs room area, glazing, orientation, insulation, occupancy and external-unit constraints before specifying equipment.

Local allocation
Leeds holds a published allocation of £5,963,439 for its delivery area. This is a programme allocation, not an amount promised to each household. The delivery body decides eligibility and suitable measures after assessment.

The system must provide heating, meet scheme and MCS requirements, and replace an eligible existing heating system. Cooling-only air conditioners do not qualify. The installer applies and passes the grant on as an upfront discount.
