UK home energy grants and schemes
There is no general UK grant for a cooling-only air conditioner. Support may be available for eligible heat pumps, insulation, solar or a council-approved whole-home package. Choose your country first, then confirm the rules with the official scheme.

Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS)
£2,500 to £9,000£2,500 for an eligible residential air-to-air heat pump, £7,500 for air-to-water or ground-source systems, and a temporary £9,000 rate for qualifying off-gas properties

How to use this guide
- 1. Check the country. Several similarly named schemes cover only one nation.
- 2. Check the measure. A reversible air-to-air heat pump may qualify where cooling-only AC does not.
- 3. Wait for approval. Do not assume funding or start work before the responsible scheme or approved installer confirms it.
