Terms of use
Last updated: 9 August 2026
These terms apply when you use suncooled.co.uk. By using the site, you agree to use it lawfully and to check important purchase and funding decisions with the responsible professional or public body.
Information and models
Prices, running costs, savings, solar output, cooling demand and grant information are general guidance. Forecasts can change. Solar calculations are approximate and do not account for every roof, shade, equipment, occupancy or installation factor. They are not a survey, design, energy performance certificate, financial recommendation or guarantee.
Public schemes
Grant and support schemes are run by third parties and can change, close or run out of funding. The official scheme, delivery body or approved installer decides eligibility and approved measures. Do not start work or rely on an amount until the responsible body confirms it.
Installer introductions
SunCooled may review a request and introduce you to an independent installer, but does not guarantee coverage, response, suitability, price or grant success. Any site survey, quotation, contract, deposit, warranty and installation is between you and the installer. Check credentials, insurance, product certification, planning requirements, network permissions and contract terms before proceeding.
Quote benchmarks
Quote benchmarks describe reviewed user submissions, not the whole market. Scope, equipment, building work, region and timing differ. A published median or range is not an offer, valuation, quality check or assurance that your property should receive the same price.
Room maps and device scans
Manual measurements and LiDAR-derived geometry can be incomplete or inaccurate. The property map, room loads, capacity ranges, unit counts and zoning suggestions are screening outputs. They are not architectural drawings, measured surveys, heat-loss calculations or equipment designs. If you attach a plan to a supplier request, it is a customer-provided brief for review, not a specification. Check dimensions and ask an installer to verify every room and system constraint.
Future products
Pages may discuss emerging options such as plug-in solar. A future or proposed product is not a recommendation to buy, import, connect or use it before UK product-safety and electrical rules allow it.
External services
The site relies on external forecasts, public datasets, maps and websites. Their availability and accuracy are outside our control. Links do not make SunCooled responsible for external content.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. Subject to that, SunCooled is not responsible for loss caused by treating general site information as a property-specific design or confirmed funding decision.
